March 2026.<\/strong> If you open any of the news portal, the view is comforting as it is a film by Lars von Trier. What they say “other”? (Spoiler: not very relaxed)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We analyzed the reports of major newspapers and centers for international studies. Here is the sentiment that filters from London, Paris and New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. USA: The risk that geopolitical is the new “normal”<\/strong> According to Skift<\/strong>, geopolitics has become the risk number one for 2026. In the United States, not to speak of the “holiday” but Experience Economy under pressure<\/em>. Analysts americans noticed a paradox: l’instability does not stop in the journey, the “move”. With l’increasing energy costs, the margins of the hotel you are thinning more of the patience of a tourist in the queue at Heathrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. UK: Value over Savings (i.e.: I want to spend but I want it all worthwhile)<\/strong> The british reports TTG Media<\/strong>have you stopped to look for the savings at all costs. Looking for the “Resilience in the program”. After years of strikes, cancellations and instability, the tourist, the british want to warranties. The word order for the 2026 is Flexibility<\/em>. If you do not offer free cancellation up to 10 minutes before check-in (an exaggeration, but not too much), you're out of the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optimism, or alert “Stop Suddenly”?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The truth, dear colleagues, is that we're navigating with a GPS that sometimes speaks in aramaic. The question is not if<\/em> people will continue to travel, but as<\/em> will react to the next shock energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the crude oil that points to 110 dollars, the airlines will soon begin to download to the costs on passengers. The risk of a “stop suddenly” is not related to the fear of the war (that, sadly, we are getting used to it), but the economic sustainability of the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our technical advice?<\/strong> Do not be dazzled by full calendar. Verify your cancellation conditions and, especially, diversified markets. If you bet everything on a single catchment area, remember that just a tweet to the wrong or a drone off course to find the hall empty and the fridges full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
